Chad Knoth of CBC Advisors Brokers Land Acquisition
DENVER, CO (May 31, 2017) — Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors) today announced that Chad Knoth, managing principal–retail at CBC Advisors in Denver, represented Rocky Mountain Sports Park (RMSP) in the purchase of 620 acres in Windsor for the development of a $225-million sports complex, the largest sports park in the world upon completion.
“It was a pleasure to work with Rocky Mountain Sports Park and help them get exactly what they were looking for with this historical development,” said Knoth. “With the help of Mary Street and our well-connected CBC Advisors professionals who referred us this project, we look forward to bringing additional legacy developments such as this sports complex to communities, coast to coast.”
Located on the corner of Highway 257 and Harmony Road, the proposed sports park will impact the local economy with increases in tourism, including 100,000 annual visitors, 80,000 hotel stays and 192 team visits each year to play baseball and softball. In its first phase, the $225 million-dollar initial investment will provide 50 full-time jobs, 730,000 square feet of available space and 207 acres for sale and lease for retail and commercial development.
The first phase is scheduled to be complete in the fall of 2018 with the second phase of the park opening in the spring of 2019. The park will include 413 acres of sports parks, park-sponsored competitive baseball and softball, 65 fields, a 10,000-person capacity feature stadium at miracle field, 5 high school and collegiate fields, 10 youth fields, 4 T-ball fields, 16 tournament baseball fields and 16 tournament softball fields. The park will accommodate 96 baseball teams and 96 softball teams each year nationally and internationally.
