ARLINGTON, Texas – Gary Walker, managing principal of locally based Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors DFW, and his high-producing land agent, Wayne Burgdorf, have been named to D CEO’s Power Broker 2015 list.
The complete list for Dallas/Fort Worth will be unveiled in D CEO’s March edition. The magazine each year recognizes professionals who have excelled and generated the most revenue for their companies.
Walker, who is marking his 31st year in the industry, has received the honor for the second consecutive year. For Burgdorf, it’s a first for his 29-year career. The D CEO Power Broker honor is based on categories, with Walker being named to the prestigious list for office tenant representation. Burgdorf, a vice president in the firm, received the accolade in the commercial property/land sales category.
CBC Commercial Advisors DFW was established in December 2013 when Walker merged his 22-year-old firm, SCM Real Estate Services, with the New Jersey-based company, which is the largest commercial real estate franchise system in the world.
“The D CEO recognition is as important for our firm as it is for the two of us,” Walker says. “Part of our success in the past year is directly related to our affiliation with Coldwell Banker Commercial and its platform.”
Walker also is president of SkyWalker Property Partners, which sources real estate investments and manages portfolios for three discretionary funds. He is a member of the board of directors for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and Central Arlington Initiative. He is active in the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, Tarrant Real Estate Council and several youth-oriented organizations, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He holds a BBA degree in finance from Baylor University and a certificate from Harvard Business School’s real estate management program.
Burgdorf, who joined CBC in September 2014, is actively involved in the Society of Commercial Realtors, Arlington Board of Realtors, Fort Worth Board of Realtors and their state and national
