FORT WORTH (June 3, 2016) – The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth has selected Casey Tounget of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors) DFW as its 2016 Outstanding Young Leader.
Tounget is chairman of the Young Leaders Council, which is comprised of commercial real estate brokers under 35 years old. In addition to his active involvement in the Real Estate Council, the Fort Worth resident sits on the boards of Communities in Schools Tarrant County and Texas Christian University Young Alumni and is an active member of SteerFW, VisionFW, Society of Commercial Realtors and Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. He is a 2014 graduate of the leadership program, Leading Edge.
“I can personally say that Casey is an ambitious guy who has really taken his YLC leadership role seriously,” says Gary Walker, managing principal of CBCA DFW who presented the award at last week’s fifth annual meeting. “Casey’s composure and willingness to work has really impressed the leadership at the Real Estate Council.”
Tounget began his career in commercial real estate in February 2012 as an intern with SCM Real Estate Services, which merged in 2014 with CBCA. He joined the firm full time as a broker associate in December 2012 following his graduation from the entrepreneurial management program at TCU’s Neeley School of Business.
Tounget specializes in tenant and landlord representation in Greater Fort Worth and Mid-Cities, representing more than 650,000 sf of commercial projects. Last year, he was part of the team that opened CBCA DFW’s Fort Worth office, which is led by Theron Bryant, the firm’s principal.
“I am honored and humbled by the recognition. I appreciate all that CBCA, Gary and Theron have done to mentor me and get my career started,” Tounget says. “And, I enjoy my role with the Real Estate Council and the opportunity to serve in a broader capacity.”
