Economic Development Veteran Added to Advisors Team
Salt Lake City (January 10, 2017) – Today Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors) announced that economic development veteran Randy Sant has joined Advisors Consulting Services. Sant will work from CBC Advisors’ 111 Main office in downtown Salt Lake City and directly with Lew Cramer, CEO of CBC Advisors, and Todd Brightwell, president of Advisors Consulting Services.
“We are delighted to welcome Randy to the team,” said Brightwell. “His extensive background and success in economic development will provide added horsepower in delivering innovative solutions to our clients, especially in the areas of economic and public development.”
For the last 25 years, Sant has served as the owner of a private economic development firm, RS Contract Management, specializing in economic development strategy, lobbying and consulting services to local governments.
During his career, Sant has been a city manager for the communities of Washington Terrace and Roy City. He has also served as the Weber County Economic Development Director, Sandy City Economic Director as well as a senior project coordinator for the Ogden City Redevelopment Agency.
Sant has been a project leader on a number of economic development projects within the State of Utah, including the planning and development of the Business Depot in Ogden, the redevelopment of the Historical 25th street in Ogden, the creation of the Utah Industrial Business Park in Tooele, and the Rio Tinto Soccer Stadium in Sandy.
Currently, Randy serves as the economic director and consultant to Tooele City, Tooele County and South Salt Lake City. Advisors Consulting Services will add resources to these current assignments.
“Randy has demonstrated significant leadership and skill within the economic development community for decades,” said Brandon Fugal, chairman of CBC Advisors. “His skill set will be a tremendous addition to our team as CBC Advisors continues to offer the highest quality, full-service commercial real estate platform in the West.”
CBC Advisors announced Advisors Consulting Services as an affiliated, non-brokerage service partner at the beginning of 2017 to provide clients independent solutions for location advisory strategy, incentive advocacy and economic development consulting. Economic development consulting works with local government entities to improve their business development activities. Location advisory services and incentive advocacy assists companies with broader location strategies and incentive negotiations–working with the most qualified brokers in the regions being evaluated.
