Coldwell Banker Commercial Intermountain Agents among Top Winners at CCIM Business Excellence Awards

Coldwell Banker Commercial Intermountain is proud to announce its agents received two of the top awards at the 2014 Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Business Excellence Awards. The annual awards recognize real estate professionals for their outstanding transactions during the previous year, but also for their community involvement.

Monica Rafferty, Office Specialist at Coldwell Banker Commercial Intermountain, was picked by the CCIM Board as the CCIM Member of the Year. The Board saw Rafferty as exemplifying what CCIM stands for; she is an outstanding role model for current, and future, commercial real estate professionals. Rafferty has more than 20 years experience in the industry, meeting objectives for clients such as Morgan Stanley Asset Management and American Express Financial Direct. She is an active member and contributor to the Utah Women’s Business Forum, National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and CCIM.

Stuart Thain, Owner and Senior Vice President of Retail at Coldwell Banker Commercial Intermountain, received the Retail Broker of the Year Award. Thain is an outstanding real estate broker who is shaping the Utah retail scene with transactions such as The Gateway Mall, Skyway Regional Shopping Center and Pocatello Rail Crossings. He has established himself as a trusted broker for clients during his 25-year career.

Kem Crosby Gardner, of The KC Gardner Company, was selected as 2014 Hall of Fame recipient. Gardner’s induction into the CCIM Hall of Fame set the tone for the night as talented real estate professionals accepted their awards.

Finalists on behalf of Coldwell Banker Commercial Intermountain are Rob Moore and Tim Simonsen for Retail Broker of the Year, Peter Gordan for Largest Lease of the Year, and Brandon Fugal for Office Broker of the Year. CCIM nominations recognize the best real estate professionals in the state of Utah.

Fifteen of CBCI’s employees were named Top Performers of the Year, ranking among the gold, silver and bronze levels. Gold Top Performers with CBCI include Brandon Fugal, Stuart Thain, Garit Lawson, Tim Simonsen and Jordan Wall. Silver Top Performers with CBCI are Kent Kohlhase, Doug Petty, Steve Bowler, Peggy Garcia and Zach Beaudry. Bronze Top Performers are Rich Robins, Greg Gunn, Greg Pavich, Duane Bush and Cody Black.
