Lehi, UT (June 23, 2017) — The Street Team at Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors) sponsored its third fun run, a 0.5-kilometer (0.5K) Ability Run on behalf of Just For Kids of Utah County, a nonprofit that promotes opportunity and independence for children and adults with disabilities. The Fun Run took place at Olympic Park in Lehi, UT, and raised almost $17,500 for future HIVEs (Habilitation Independence Vocation Education Socialization) program initiatives.

“We were thrilled when Just for Kids gave us the opportunity to sponsor their annual Ability Run, three years in a row,” said Mary Street, Senior Vice President of Land and Investment and a member of the Street Team at CBC Advisors. “We’ve formed a great partnership in promoting ‘Abilities’ and working together towards the common good of our community.”

With over 300 participants, the sponsored 0.5K race focused fundraising on year-round activities for the children and adults enrolled in Just For Kids of Utah County. Just For Kids provide opportunities and activity programs for children with disabilities including HIVES program, summer school and JFK athletics programs.

“We had over 300 racers celebrating abilities,” said Michelle Holbrook, 3.5K Ability Run Organizer. “It is so fun to see families and friends gathering to support their children as they reach for the stars. Thanks to the Street Team and Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors’ the funds gathered from this event will help them reach their potential.”
