156,500 Square Foot Manufacturing Facility Changes Ownership
Burley, Idaho (September 1, 2016) –Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors) announced Jarrod Hunt, Senior Vice President-Industrial Services, and Don Zebe, Vice President-Eastern Idaho, brokered the sale of Keystone RV Company’s former manufacturing facility in Burley, Idaho to Watco Companies, L.L.C. for an undisclosed amount. The purchase registers among the largest commercial property transactions in southern Idaho over the past few years.
“We are thrilled to have advised two great companies in this transaction that will once again bring jobs back to the site,” said Hunt. “Ensuring our clients’ needs are met with every purchase and sale is our highest priority. This transaction accomplished that.”
Hunt represented the seller, Goshen, Indiana-based Keystone RV Company, (one of the nation’s largest and most successful RV manufacturers and a subsidiary of Thor Industries, Inc.) with Zebe and Jon Brennan representing the buyer, Pittsburg, Kansas–based Watco Companies, L.L.C. WATCO plans to utilize the facility to accommodate warehousing and distribution services for existing customers.
The facility comprises 156,400 square feet of manufacturing and office space. The property stretches across 121 acres of land and also contains three climate controlled potato storage buildings, which were built by Max Herbold Company–the owner prior to Keystone RV Company.
